Money Advice Market

The Money Advice Market event in Rugby will showcase the range of support available to residents to help them with the cost of living.

The marketplace event at the Benn Hall, Newbold Road, Rugby, on Saturday 15 October from 10am to 2pm will feature a range of organisations offering help with finances and debt, food poverty, energy and fuel, support for families, mental health support, local job vacancies and much more.

Those booked to attend include Rugby Foodbank, Citizen’s Advice, Warwickshire Welfare Scheme, Act on Energy, Family Information Service, Rugby Job Centre, Rugby Credit Union, Severn Trent, Christians Against Poverty, National Energy Action, Coventry & Warwickshire MIND and many more. The Rugby Repair Café will also be running a pop-up repair café so bring along your items for repair, and there will be free activities for children provided by Rugby Children & Family Centres. Rugby School will be demonstrating how to cook on a budget using slow cookers, and there will be a prize draw on the day with 10 slow cookers up for grabs. Free refreshments will also be available.

This event is open to everyone, no booking is required. Whether you need immediate help, or worry you may struggle further down the line as prices continue to rise, come and meet the organisations now who can offer support.
