The grim situation in Ukraine will I am sure be something that you, your staff and pupils are keenly aware of. Pupils will have their own feelings and views and be asking questions.  Some may be personally affected. At such times the school community play an important part in acknowledging what is taking place in the world and providing a positive and reflective place for pupils to be. It is through grave and difficult issues that education and teachers and staff often provide the light.

I hope that half term provided you with a break. It seems that across the county the incidence of COVID19 is receding which is good news overall.
