Dear Colleagues,
Christmas has come early this year with Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission publishing the new area framework and handbook for inspecting local area arrangements for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Really significant for children and young people and their families and carers.
You may recall that Warwickshire was involved in the pilot area inspection, a valuable experience for the local area as well as contributing to the developments. We collectively continue to work through our change programme and will use this framework as an important part of our developments.
