Women in engineering - STEM event run by Telent

Please note that the following event is being organised by a Warwickshire business and WCC is not involved in running the event.

Audience: Females aged 14-18 from any UK school

Event’s aim:

To provide young females an insight into the telecommunications industry and the different engineering roles within it
To provide insight into the career paths of apprentices, graduates and senior employees at Telent. To explore what made them pursue a career in STEM, what obstacles or challenges they have encountered along the way, and to provide recommendations to anyone wanting to join the industry
To empower young females and to reinforce their value in the STEM industry
Opportunity for young females to ask any questions at the end of the session
Opportunity to pair up to 6 female students with a selected mentor
