Women in engineering - STEM event run by Telent
Please note that the following event is being organised by a Warwickshire business and WCC is not involved in running the event.

Audience: Females aged 14-18 from any UK school
Event’s aim:
- To provide young females an insight into the telecommunications industry and the different engineering roles within it
- To provide insight into the career paths of apprentices, graduates and senior employees at Telent. To explore what made them pursue a career in STEM, what obstacles or challenges they have encountered along the way, and to provide recommendations to anyone wanting to join the industry
- To empower young females and to reinforce their value in the STEM industry
- Opportunity for young females to ask any questions at the end of the session
- Opportunity to pair up to 6 female students with a selected mentor
