Information: Early Years Foundation Stage profile (EYFSP) handbook
The DfE have published the EYFSP handbook for the academic year 2021/22, which provides guidance for reception teachers and school leadership on completing the EYFSP at the end of reception year.
As part of the EYFS reforms, DfE has streamlined all guidance on the EYFSP into one document. The Assessment and Reporting Arrangements (ARA) will no longer be published for the EYFSP, with all guidance and information on the assessment now set out in the handbook.
The LA will continue to support assessment at the end of the reception year through the introduction of Assessment Champions who will work alongside the Warwickshire Early Years Aspiration Networks.
