Heads Up 13 January 2023

HEADS UP

Dear Colleagues,

Some specific work to draw your attention to this week. Warwickshire County Council has commissioned Learning Plus UK (LPUK) to carry out some research to inform future planning decisions about the Council's education traded services (WES Services).

WES Services have been supporting schools/trusts through the delivery of traded services for over 25 years and continually develops and enhance services to meet school/trust needs.  With the ever-changing landscape for education, the pressures on available resources and schools, the mixed market in relation to academisation, the Council has commissioned this piece of research to help provide an understanding of the current and future marketplace along with an informed view of the type of services schools/trusts are looking for.

This will enable us to develop and offer services that meet your needs for the future and support you with delivering a high-quality learning experience for all learners.

Learning Plus UK will conduct the research during January and February 2023. A selection of schools and trusts are being invited to take part in the research. This will be in the format of a 45-60 minute interview with a researcher from Learning Plus UK. If you are contacted please do take part.

We value your support with this research.

Best wishes

Chris Baird

Interim Assistant Director for Education Services.
