Skill for Employment 2020 Update

This year has certainly taken so many of us in unexpected directions. The Covid-19 pandemic has needed us to be dedicated and creative in continuing our support to those around us.

The Skills for Employment Programme is no exception, our team have been carefully considering the most effective routes of support needed for Warwickshire schools and colleges, with an priority to maintain the high standard of careers support, delivered to our young people we have outlined a series of ambitions we hope to take forward with your support.

Over coming weeks, we will provide more detail around the full programme offer and our project plans to bring employer engagement forward, whilst supporting you to build resources and opportunities to help shape the look of Warwickshire career opportunities as we move forward.

We understand that time is of the essence and we would like to share with you the first strand of support which will be immediately available for applications (should you need to identify support before term ends) further opportunity will follow in Autumn, however we wanted to provide opportunity to those that need support right away.

Attached is a brief overview of the fund and whilst we aim to email everyone directly with application forms, if you wish to make a direct request please, contact Emma Neale on emmaneale@warwickshire.gov.uk
