Future Careers Filming: Digital Marketplace
September 2020 saw the launch of the Future Careers Digital Marketplace Project.
This programme is a digital filming project which takes the WCC project team to visit businesses across Warwickshire and produce short film pieces, providing a remote and COVID safe opportunity for employers to present to schools and employment programmes the careers opportunities they have to offer.
The films contain an introduction to senior management and HR departments, introduce who they are, what they do and the roles they have available. In all films we encourage employees who may just be starting the career with the business to talk about their journey so far and the route they have taken into employment.
The collection of local films will be available for schools, colleges and employment programmes to use as part of their new digital and blended delivery activity. Our next phase to the project is to provide additional tools to “Build a Fair” so watch this space!
These videos will become a regular feature so keep an eye open for upcoming films which once films are finalised will appear in this newsletter, via email from our Schools and Careers Coordinator – Emma Neale and on our website skillshub.warwickshire.gov.uk
