Contact, the charity for families with disabled children, is hosting an online session on Wednesday 22 March 2023, 10am - 12.30pm, providing practical ideas for supporting families of disabled children in the Early Years.
The workshop aims to help professionals:
- Increase understanding of disability, including hidden disability
- Increase awareness of the effect of disability on the family
- Enable more effective communication with parents
- Enable a better start to a working relationship with parents of children with SEND.
Attendance is free as the course is being funded by the Department for Education as part of the Early Years SEND programme.
