Education, health and care plans

DfE has published data showing that the number of children under 5 with an Education and Health Care Plan increased from 16,536 in 2021 to 18,054 in 2022 (3.8% of the total issued). 2,518 of these were in non-maintained early years settings.  

Overall, there has been a 10% increase since 2021.
