Information for funded Early Years Providers Safeguarding Audit 2021

Warwickshire County Council is working towards having a ‘county-wide’ safeguarding audit from 2022. For 2021 we have produced an interim audit for funded early years providers. It is a condition within Warwickshire County Council Provider Agreement 2021 -2022 that all funded providers complete the audit.

We have tried to make the audit easier to complete by creating it on MSForms.

There are two versions one for childminders and one for any other funded early years providers.

The safeguarding audit must be completed by all funded providers including schools, childminders and PVI settings. The audit must be completed no later than 2nd July 2021.

Note: the audit can be printed off in full or saved to a pdf by right clicking on the form and selecting your print option.

To access the links please see this weeks briefing issued today.

Non-funded providers are welcome to complete the audit, however there is no requirement to do so this year.

Any queries, please email: earlyyearsadvisors@warwickshire.gov.uk

New mental health resources from Institute of Health Visiting

The interactive resources, known as Factographics, have been developed by the Institute of Health Visiting after researchers at the University of Surrey identified three distinct groups with unmet needs.

The resources are available in web, mobile and PDF versions and they can be accessed directly by parents or shared by healthcare professionals.
