Supporting Inclusion for SEND and Vulnerable Groups

Opportunity for Head Teachers to contribute to a review of the Education Psychology Service

This is a request for a group of Head Teachers from secondary, primary and special schools to meet virtually with the SEND Consultant, Kate East, who is undertaking a review of the Education Psychology Service as part of the Council’s SEND Transformation Programme. This is an opportunity to provide information that might inform future decisions about the council's organisation of current services to better support your priorities.

If you are interested in taking part then please email linseyedgeller@warwickshire.gov.uk to express your interest prior to Friday 21st May.

Updated HS2 educational resources includes SEND materials

Updated online resources include activities adapted for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to encourage them to think about pursuing STEM careers. Downloadable lessons for SEND students include working in teams to design a train station, learning about ecosystems and building an insect hotel, and preparing for independent rail travel through role play.

Find the resources here.

Reminder: Getting prepared for our Local Area SEND inspection
