Come and join the big conversation

Join the big conversation to help tackle childhood obesity

Following a successful pilot last autumn, Women & Theatre is delivering its theatre-based workshop over Zoom later this month.

Developed from research, this interactive, online workshop focusses on why conversations with families about early childhood obesity are regarded by many as being "difficult" to have.

It uses creative methods and discussion to encourage us to become more confident and comfortable approaching these conversations. (Please note participants do not take part in role-plays).

The pilot participants reported feeling more confident & comfortable about initiating conversations with families using a strengths-based approach.

The workshop lasts 2.5 hours (with breaks) & there are 4 dates to choose from:

Thursday 25 March: 2 - 4.30pm

Friday 26 March: 10-12.30pm

Saturday 27 March: 10-12.30pm

Mon 29 March:  2 - 4.30pm
