This report features some interesting statistics regarding young people and their attitudes towards their future careers.

 

Careers Hub virtual career show - register now.

The Coventry and Warwickshire Careers Hub Virtual Career Show will be held on Wednesday 3 March from 1pm to 7pm and is now open for young people, parents, adults and stakeholders.

The first half of the day (1pm-4pm) is geared for young people to use within school/college time.

The second half (4pm - 7pm) is for parents/adults to access it with their young people.

There will be  Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 activity guides that will be available for the students to use to support their career show experience. There will also be a guide to introduce the participants and a more detailed support for parents/adults.

Interactive Futures is a FREE digital event that’s been designed specifically for children, students, young people – and their parents. Taking place during Half Term, from Wednesday February 17 to Saturday February 20, Interactive Futures will allow you to:-

• Find out about the video games companies based in the Coventry & Warwickshire area
• Discover the range of careers available in this fast-growing industry – whether your skills lie in maths, science, story-telling, art or music, there’s something for everyone
• Learn the basics of creating a video game yourself via a series of tutorials
• Enter game design competitions to put yourself on the path to success as a creator

Warwickshire Police Cadet Recruitment - Now Open!

Calling all year 11 students who are looking to enhance their opportunities and learn new skills.

If you are interested in joining the Police Cadet Scheme, sign up for the Zoom Recruitment Evening on 15th February 2021 @ 18:00.

This will be a great opportunity to see a short presentation and ask any questions.
